Emilie uses plant-based candle wax formed into tiny pearls instead of one solid block of wax.

Pour the pearls into your Emilie Bowl, place a cotton wick into the centre and light it. Only the wax directly around the wick melts, creating a small local melt pool rather than melting the entire candle.

Once everything is completely cool, lift out the used wax disc. If the remaining wax is still clean, you can crumble it back into the surrounding pearls, add or reposition a fresh wick and create your candle again.

Instead of replacing an entire candle every time it burns down, you keep the bowl and continue refreshing the wax and wicks.

Both versions of The Emilie Signature Set come with the same deep Smoky Mocha pearled wax shown in our Signature imagery.

Unscented gives you the full Smoky Mocha look without added fragrance — ideal if you want candlelight and colour without scent.

Sandalwood & Amber pairs the same Smoky Mocha wax with a warm, softly luxurious fragrance built around bright bergamot, delicate florals, creamy woods, sandalwood and smooth amber warmth.

Your Signature Set includes 1kg of pearled wax and 50 cotton wicks, providing approximately 200+ hours of candlelight, depending on how you use it.

One wick can provide approximately 6–8 hours from start to finish, although we recommend burning for no more than four hours at a time and relighting it later.

A single wick creates a softer, more minimal glow and helps your wax last longer. Multiple evenly spaced wicks create a larger candle moment but naturally use the wax more quickly.

Because only the wax immediately around each wick melts, the remaining pearls stay ready for your next setup.

Emilie is a real candle with a real flame, so normal candle care still applies.

The wick sits freely within the wax pearls rather than being fixed to the bottom of the vessel. It must remain clear of the vessel base, walls and any decoration, with appropriate space around every flame.

Your Signature Set includes the Emilie Bowl as the main vessel for creating your pearled candle.

The Ellipse Tray and Cashmere Vase are decorative pieces and should not be treated as candle vessels unless a product is specifically stated to be suitable for candle use.

You can also use your Emilie wax in another suitable, stable and heat-safe container, provided it is large enough to keep every wick safely away from the base, sides, decoration and anything flammable.

Always burn on a stable heat-safe surface, keep away from children and pets, and never leave a burning candle unattended.
