A surface that reveals itself in the light.
Every Emilie Home piece begins with a smooth cast surface.
We take it further.
After curing, each piece is carefully etched to remove the outermost layer and reveal the fine decorative aggregate held within the material.
The result is a tactile, matte surface with the depth and character of natural stone — soft from a distance, more detailed the closer you look.
In direct light, tiny points within the exposed aggregate can catch and reflect the light, giving the surface a subtle mineral shimmer that changes as you move around it.
It is not a painted stone effect.
The character comes from within the material itself.

Four colours. One unmistakable finish.
A permanent palette designed to move easily between candlelight, stone, wood and the changing colours of home.
Alabaster
A clean mineral white with a quiet warmth and softly exposed texture. Bright enough to feel fresh, soft enough to live naturally with warmer interiors.
Cashmere
A warm stone neutral with sandy undertones. Calm, understated and especially at home beside natural wood, linen and soft beige interiors.
Sienna
A rich earthy terracotta with more depth and saturation — warm, grounded and made to become part of the room rather than disappear into it.

Hand-cast into form
Each design begins as a carefully cast piece, giving us the proportions, curves and sculptural shape that define the collection.

Given time to settle
The piece is allowed to cure before the surface is worked further, rather than rushing straight from the mould to the finished object.

The surface is revealed
We carefully etch the exterior to expose the fine decorative aggregate within, transforming the smooth cast surface into the tactile stone-like finish that defines Emilie Home.

What is Emilie Home?
Emilie Home is our collection of hand-cast vessels, bowls, trays, dishes and decorative objects created around the way candlelight and small everyday rituals live within the home.
What are Emilie Home pieces made from?
Our pieces are cast from a durable mineral-based composite chosen for its strength, fine detail and the distinctive natural finish it develops after our etching process.
Why does the surface look like stone?
After curing, we etch the surface to reveal the fine decorative aggregate within the material. This creates the matte, tactile, naturally varied stone-like finish that characterises Emilie Home.
Why can the surface sparkle slightly in the light?
The etching process exposes tiny particles within the decorative aggregate. Under direct or changing light, some of these can catch the light and create a very subtle mineral shimmer across the surface.
Are all Emilie Home pieces identical?
Each piece follows the same design and colour specification, but the hand-casting and finishing process can create subtle variations in texture, aggregate visibility and surface character. We consider these small differences part of the finished piece.
Which colours are available?
Our core Emilie Home palette is Alabaster, Cashmere, Sienna and Onyx. Availability can vary between individual designs, and occasional limited-edition colours may also be introduced.
Can every Emilie Home piece be used as a candle vessel?
No. Only pieces specifically described as suitable candle vessels should be used for candle setups. Decorative trays, dishes and other objects should be used according to the guidance on their individual product page.
